Special Operations Forces (SOF) Maintenance Training Facility (MTF)

Scope of Work:  Masonry

Location:  Hurlburt Air Force Base, FL

Owner:  US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Mobile District

General Contractor:  Speegle Construction, Inc.

REYCO was awarded the masonry contract for the SOF Maintenance Training Facility located at Hurlburt Field, FL.  The work is for the construction of a new 36,800 SF high bay facility with concrete foundation, auger cast pilings, floor slab, steel frame, masonry walls and sloped metal roof, environmental control (HVAC), fire detection and protection, and mass notification system.

Functional areas include space for a dedicated Weapons Load Trainer, a full size C-130 aircraft, small training devices, classrooms, instructors and staff offices, storage, etc. Supporting facilities include utilities, pavements, site improvements, communications, and all necessary support, making a complete and usable facility.

Commercial Vehicle/Visitor Access Control Facility

Scope of Work:  General Contractor

Location:  Robins Air Force Base, GA

Owner:  US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)

Prime Contractor:  Hensel Phelps

This project is the construction of a new entrance to Robins Air Force Base from State Route 247. The site consists of an 800 square foot gatehouse, perimeter fencing, and associated sitework including three retention ponds. The primary entry drive has lanes for truck queuing where vehicles will proceed to X-ray and under vehicle inspections followed by a canopied truck inspection area.

Pleasant Grove Elementary School

Scope of Work:  Painting, Division 10, and Final Cleaning

Location:  Pensacola, FL

Owner:  Escambia County School District

General Contractor:  Wharton-Smith, Inc.

This new facility will relocate an existing elementary school to a property just two miles down the road. The project consists of 137,000 square feet of new classrooms, administration areas, multipurpose and food service areas, a baseball field, basketball courts, indoor and outdoor play areas, parking bus loop, and required site improvements.

Special Operations Forces (SOF) Aircraft Maintenance Unit (AMU) and Weapons Hangar Facility

Scope of Work:  Masonry, Doors & Hardware, and Final Cleaning

Location:  Hurlburt Field, Ft Walton, FL

Owner:  US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)

General Contractor:  Hensel Phelps

This project will be construction of a new 105,041 square foot facility at Hurlburt Field comprised of a maintenance hangar, aircraft maintenance unit with shops, and weapons shop with reinforced concrete foundation and floor slab, steel structure, masonry walls and standing seam metal roof.

Department of Defense (DoD) principles for high performance and sustainable building requirements will be included in the design and construction of the project in accordance with federal laws and Executive Orders.

Baptist Health Care Brent Lane Campus Central Energy Plant (CEP)

Scope of Work:  Masonry

Location:  245 Brent Lane, Pensacola, FL

Owner:  Baptist Hospital

General Contractor:  Brasfield & Gorrie LLC

The Baptist Health Care Brent Lane Campus project will include a new state-of-the-art hospital and medical office building. The current scope of work includes a new 650,000 square foot, 10-story main hospital, 25,783 square foot central energy plant, 174,590 square foot, six-story medical office building and a standalone Behavioral Health hospital.

REYCO is pleased to be a part of this ambitious project providing its masonry expertise for the Central Energy Plant.

Baldwin County Corrections Female Housing Addition

Scope of Work:  Masonry

Location: 301 Hand Avenue, Bay Minette, AL

Owner:  Baldwin County Commission

This project is a multiphase renovation and new construction of a new Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office and multistory Female Housing unit. Phase 1 will consist of a renovation of a city multiuse building into the new office.  Phase 2 will relocate the Sheriff’s Office from their existing building to the renovated building as well as demo the building and 100-year-old city water tower.

Phase 3 will construct a new 10-story Female Housing Unit as well as a new Booking and Intake building.
